Skip other dishes and make sure you order somtum, be it Thai or Lao style (with fermented fish), fried chicken, and sticky rice. Given I'm a Thai who loves somtum, I know what I'm talking about ;)
Even meat lovers swoon for Hangawei. It's vegetarian Korean food in the coziest setting imaginable. Get leek pancakes, the spicy tofu dish with the kimchi, and the broccoli with garlic.
The Leek Jardinera was amazing! The fried plantain appetizer was also very good. The server was very friendly and knowledgable.
Have one savory dish & one sweet then SHARE. Never had pancakes as fluffy as these, waiters are nice, wait is 1-3hrs but they text you when you're table is ready so you don't have to wait outside 👌
Everything comes in small plates. Go with friends, have wine and nibble on all the deliciousness! Highly recommend the duck liver and Bordeaux Supérieur for red wine. No reservation so go early
So many things but it's the dessert that got me: French toast with Belgian chocolates. Ice cream on brioche. Walnuts and clementines.
I highly recommend the Shakshouka and the Cauliflower! Both are vegetarian friendly but you can also add Merguez sausage.
Solid and relatively light (ie not too much cream) Indian food. The Chef's tasting will get you all the chaat you want, but the entrees are not the choice ones!! Go a la carte instead

Really great quaint place that serves Japanese breakfast around lunch and ramen in the evening. Seats 12. The wait is unreal but it's worth it. Go there at 10 am or after 10 pm to avoid a 2-hr wait.

We love coming to this effortlessly cute spot for a romantic brunch. Definitely try the Prego Roll, the Rosewater Waffle or the Green Shakshuka and a Sweetened Iced Green Tea.

Must get: the chocolate babka. Made with rich Belgian chocolate AND Nutella, it may be the best babka in the world. Head baker gained a cult following in Tel Aviv, and it's easy to see(/taste!) why.
Cinematic location tucked in the back of an alley. Hearty food, grizzly dudes, hot chicks and lots of taxidermy. Check their Sporting Club on the way out for bespoke suits and old-school barberism.
Simply stunning. The centerpiece is obv. the pies (project hazelnut is a revelation) & bread (don't miss that fine, fine butter), but don't miss the salads, meatballs or dessert, either.
This might just be everything a fried chicken sandwich is supposed to be (though, only a little spicy). Don't forget the Ssäm Sauce!
Don't get there too late because some of the best items like the homemade tofu will be all gone.
