I'd consider Central Park as the oasis of NYC. It's a little bit of tranquility in a city that never sleeps. Stop in, grab a map and you can easily spend a whole day exploring this huge park. Enjoy!
This place never fails to impress me. Probably my best park in the big apple. Yoga classes, live music, nice surroundings, books and great waffle place, could you ask for more?
Excellent views of Manhattan. Be sure to check the exhibition about the history of the building, very interesting.
Iconic landmark of the city. Great views of downtown skyline. Can be annoyingly crowded but them's the breaks! If you've never done it, it's a must!

The set is flat out incredible. Don't be afraid to touch props, open doors. It's all there to explore and they haven't overlooked a single detail. The performance is less acting & more dance/movement.
Historic theater. Get in line between 12 and 1pm for great seats. Bring a jacket. It gets cold inside, even during the summer.
It's the kate spade flagship store - always impeccable window and store displays, and a wedding belles section. Check out the bags and shoes, add a bangle to your collection - I always leave smiling.
Impressive collection, beautiful sculpture garden. All that you can hope for in a museum. The 5th floor cafe is pricey, but the food is very good and the view on the balcony is worth the price.
Amazing place to watch sunset or just to take a look at the city from the top. Try to purchase the tickets in advance. If the weather was bad, you can take a rain check for free.
Wide open spaces, sweeping high ceilings with beautiful artwork, and incredible architecture. Find and test out the whispering gallery in front of the Oyster Bar, a fascinating architectural oddity.
