The pernil (garlic-rubbed pork roast) is superb, and so are the roast chicken, tripe and pig-feet soup, and oxtail stew, served with white or yellow rice, black or red beans. 続きを見る
Great hole on the wall near Times Square. The food is affordable and the quality is good. They serve cafeteria style. The thing to get is the Cuban sandwich.
Grub St.: This bustling old Latin luncheonette (bright red counter, bright yellow menu board) dishes up good cheer and soulful chow in equal measure, and also smooshes the city’s second best Cubano.
We never expected to find an authentic hole-in-the-wall in Times Square, but we’re so glad we did. And this crispy, meat-filled beauty is well worth braving the crowds. 続きを見る
Everything is delicious. Been coming here 2 to 3 times a week for past month or so and it never disappoints. I'm not Latin but I would assume this is what latin home cooking is like.
Best Cuban sandwich in NYC! Great bread that is appropriately flattened. Filled with unctuous pork & salami and improved with tangymustard and pickles.
Comida caseira, farta, deliciosa, bem temperada, atendimento excelente e bem em conta.Arroz branco e amarelo, feijão, frango, costelinha, pernil, todos soltando do osso, banana frita, salada fresca.
Don't be late to lunch. They have the most incredibly juicy tender chicken, the kind you can gently pull off with a plastic fork, without needing a knife. But it gets a tad bit dry as the day goes on.
Coffee and waitstaff are awesome, so are sandwiches. An oasis in an otherwise horrible part of town. Delivery guys having a beer after their shift, this place is just awesome.
Cuban Sandwiches. Mini-kitchen for churning out porky delights. There's a griddle used for melting cheese onto each roll so they're good and crunchy before they're stuffed with meat, pickles. <10$
The BEST Cuban food in the Times Square area! You have to try this Latino food, and cheap prices! If out here for lunch might want to get 2 Coronas for $5 bucks Cuban Sandwich, the BEST of the BEST
When I worked in the area this was my go to place for lunch. I eat here anytime I'm near. The price is right and the food always delicious. Whether its pulpo, bacalao, or pernil it's all good!
When you get the Wednesday shredded pork special, say "yes" to the red pickled onions and ask for an extra little container of the side sauce. The pork doesn't NEED the sauce, but it's still great.
