HISTORY1月 9, 2013The trade center's twin 110-story towers, the planet's tallest buildings when they officially opened in 1973, were destroyed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks against the U.S.
One World Trade Center is a masterfully designed building and a symbol of resilience and resolve. I'd recommend this site as a follow on to the 9/11 Memorial. It shows first the pain then the triumph

The entire area is undergoing some really incredible transformation, definitely worth checking out not just the building but everything surrounding it!
