First, head to the bar and ask for Billy. The man will hook you up. Then, order the beets, crab salad, chicken, lamb and cheesecake. Narcissa is easily Michelin-caliber and one of my faves in NYC now.
You will spend an amazing amount of cash in minuscule appetizers and cocktails. And it will be amazing. Just make sure you've lined up where you're actually having dinner.

You cannot go wrong with ingredients like these. Gnocchi is amazing and unique (almost no flour), panini "bread" is great....so crisp.
The chicken parm is good, but the eggplant parm sandwich is perfect. Thinly sliced, drenched in their homemade tomato sauce, and sprinkled with fresh basil on top.
Calling these chicken fingers is almost offensive. They're the best I've ever had. $17 for 5 is a steal to split between two people. Salted caramel is required. Also, truffle fries.
