The macaroni and cheese at Nova is a guilty pleasure. Sit in the back to feel like you have your own "regular" table.
Always order the pupusas "revueltas", which is pork and cheese. These are simply the best pupusas I've ever eaten.
If you order 1 thing, get the chocolate croissant bread pudding. It's to die for.
Sunday mornings here are called Beignet Sundays. Come worship at the altar of Yum.
Put your trust in the chef and order omakase all the way! Best sushi. Best value. Oh I miss it so much!

The kouign amann is perfectly crisp and flakey on the outside, deliciously soft and delicate in the middle. Definitely get at least one!

Tsukemen with spicy umami sauce! They have two types of garlic purée- Jpn or French (with milk). Wasabi tako is pretty good, too. Service could be a bit slow.
The Korean sliced beef and katsu are their best-sellers, but anything is good on their Dutch crunch bread. GIve yourself time, they are a little slow.

I make it a point to go to the best pho spot in every city I visit and Golden Star was an absolute standout. If you don't end your meal with a Vietnamese iced coffee, I feel so, so sorry for you.

Packed w/ all the cool-kid tech folks (they're all investors!) and everything I tried on the menu is awesome. Standouts: the 1780 Old Fashioned, deviled eggs, pork trotter (!!), rocky road sundae
Reminds me of a more laid back Hakkasan with more OG Cantonese flavor profile and higher price point. Dungeness crab custard and uni noodle are must haves
