Carl Griffin: The Thai Green curry is amongst the best I've found outside of Thailand.

Carl Griffin: The lamb karahi is beautiful tasting. Great value food. Best Indian in the city.

Carl Griffin: Definitely worth doing the tour to see the old court and cells of what was until recently Europe's oldest prison. The Pendle witches were tried here.

Carl Griffin: Beautiful Jacobean house set in stunning parkland. The previous house on the site was the childhood home of Elizabeth I.

Carl Griffin: Lovely large town centre church. Monday classical concerts are excellent.

Carl Griffin: Excellent views of White Horse hill and its 3000 year old White Horse. Great food using local produce, complimented by very good real ales.

Carl Griffin: Quiz nights and live music performances are always a draw, as is the excellent selection of real ales. A must visit when in the Swindon area.

Carl Griffin: Stunning ancient pub used in many period movies. Was the scene of Judge Jeffrey's bloody assizes following the failed Monmouth Rebellion. Great real ales in impressive surroundings.

Carl Griffin: Bright and airy pub serving great quality real ales.

Carl Griffin: Very friendly bar staff. The pub is on the National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. Two nice cosy rooms and a more lively bar area.

Carl Griffin: No overt signage outside makes this pub hard to find but worth the effort. It is apparently part of Frome's tunnel network. Great cider.

Carl Griffin: Brewpub with the Milk Street brewery at the rear. Great real ales.

Carl Griffin: Very quirky pub that hasn't been changed for at least a century. Has no bar, just a service hatch. Has a huge creeper on outside of pub. On National inventory of historic pub interiors. A Must visit.

Carl Griffin: Great views from the beer garden. The pub puts a strong emphasis on excellent food but also serves decent real ales.
