Sav airport is the BEST airport ever! You can still do curbside check-in & actually get out of your car without the Po Po running you off. Just make sure you tip your skycap!

Security lines can be brutal at MCO. Be sure to allow plenty of time and bring your patience. You WILL see strollers in the expert traveler line in Orlando.

If you have a long layover go to the air and space museum. 12 minute shuttle ride from airport 1 USD round trip and soooo much more interesting than staring at a billboard
Best food in all terminals... Paradise Bakery! Don't forget to ask for a spoon or a fork if you need one as they don't offer it up. Finding out you need one on the plane isn't pleasant!

Never having to wait more than 10 minutes for security makes TYS a win!
Lines are not short during Spring Break. They aren't as long as a major hub, but you should plan to arrive 60-90 minutes prior to your flight the middle of March - end of April.
Not a lot of passengers through here so the TSA gives you the full look over. Don't be offended if they go through everything. Give yourself time. Its kinda funny!

The US immigration is on the Nassau airport. Make sure you have enough time for it! I can recommend Quiznos sub + beer. Faster than Wendy's!
There are lots of desk spaces available for laptop users in the cafe near gate 3. And also good internet connection with free wifi.
Free and speedy wifi. One restaurant outside security, and another on the gate 1-4 side. No restaurant on the gate 15-19 side. Both restaurants are just OK, not great.

Pappadeaux upstairs in Terminal E is a great place to grab a meal if you have some extra time. It's a fill service restaurant and bar. Try the bisque, any of the seafood, the swamp thing drink!
There's a very home-town feel to this place. By that I mean the folks who did the layout didn't realize they were planning for a city with over 3 million people in it.
If you're flying SWA Business Select, the far left security line is the Fly By line, but it's not marked well.

Fast and speedy to get through security. Not a very big airport.
Nope, there isn't much to do and it feels very small...but that's why you get off your plane and are 100 feet from ground transport - easiest airport around.
When being picked up at the STL airport, its easier to meet your ride on the upper level after you get your luggage. Both the elevator and the escalator are handy and its not a lot of walking.
The security line doesn't open until they know a flight is going to depart on time!
Check out the awesome beach and ocean view on takeoff or landing depending on your flight path. Beautiful!

At GSP it doesn't take much time at all to get through ticketing, security and to the gate. If you're carrying on, you can literally get here 20 minutes before your flight and be fine.
Try Natty Greene's for a good local brew outside Street Scene (before going through security). Otherwise, very few food options here.
If it's a big or sold out flight allow plenty of time. If not, then you only need an hour. Nice staff except for the larger lady in usair luggage claims that will never file a claim
Bored? If you've got an hour or more to kill, the Botanical Gardens are a 5 minute walk from the Information Desk at Baggage Claim... and entry is free when you walk in!

Post-screening, you get a chance to squeeze in one last Great Lakes brew before shoving off to your destination. Go for it. You deserve it.
Out-of-towners: If you have lots of time to kill before your flight, don't go through security right away. There are more shopping & food options in the center mall area than by the gates.
Skip the fast food breakfast garbage. You can have a real breakfast at O'Briens for less than 10 bucks.
Be sure to stop and check-out the Mid Town Clock located just past security, between Terminals A & B. It plays every hour on the hour.
For one of the best steaks in all of New Jersey, stop by Gallagher’s Steak House near gate C120 at Terminal C. There’s a cool storefront refrigerator showing the steaks being “dry aged”.

In US customs stay to the right if you can... Corrals are much shorter than on the left...
For transborder flights, U.S. Customs pre-clearance is a breeze out of Montréal (as opposed to Toronto-Pearson), just aim for a late morning or early afternoon departure when the queues are lightest.
US departure section has nothing in it - just a crappy coffee shop. Go through customs as late as you can. Chicago and Philly flight often delayed/cancelled, check online before leaving home
PEI Tourism has a staffed booth as soon as you get off the plane into arrivals - maps, brochures and friendly advice!
The service in the on-site non-secured restaurant is often slow. If you're in a hurry to grab a bite with the family before your flight out, don't plan on being in and out!

When it goes wrong here, it it often does, don't take it out on the agents. They are doing a job. The industry sucks, not the people on the front line who may do be your neighbor.
Feeling discombobulated? Look for the Recombulation Area! (BTW... it's almost always cheaper, faster and easier to fly out of MKE than O'Hare)

There is some sort of hand soap embargo on the secure side of the airport in the men's room. Use the restroom and then go through security...or bring hand sanitizer.

You can get in and out of LA through this smaller airport, and you can also get some stuff done while you're there on the complementary free wi-fi!
Instead of waiting in line for TSA to check your boarding pass.. Go to the elevator and check in there. This is great when you are in a rush to go upstairs.

On the Gatwick Express, skip buying a ticket in advance. There's no extra charge for buying it on the train.
If you have to go to the city center by public transport, the cheapest way is the bus, just in front of the exit. The journey is 40 minutes, price 7-8 € one way.
The worst "world class city" airport ever. Often smells like an overflowing toilet, the Metro ticket machines don't accept U.S. credit cards, and there are no services. Next time, take a boat to Paris
Ask rate before getting into taxi. Get taxi near the policemen. Taxi drivers don't know English
Air China lounge is out of the immigration counter. It's not quiet. If you want to use wifi, you have to get the password at the front desk.
There's a place to park off the end of the runway on Molly Barr road that's awesome for plane watching.
No toilets beyond the security check point. Do your business before your mandatory strip down.
