Portions are huge. One order of one dish is enough to split between two people. I suggest the Crispy Orange Beef or any of the Noodle dishes! If you want soup - go for the seafood curry!
Red Sea roll is awesome. The toro roll is so good the fish is like butter and the crunch makes it. The Miso Black Cod is not great. Do not miss the Tempura Cheesecake! YUMMA!
Go to the bathroom, it's a life changing experience and possibly the namesake of this restaurant.
This seemingly hole-in-the-wall spot serves up some of our favorite & most inventive special sushi rolls in the city. Personal favs: Big Mac, Billy Joel, Spicy Tuna Sandwich, & 8 Crazy Nights rolls.
The braised skate and calamari is great ... If you like it spicy get it ... I have eaten spicier hotter Thai so don't be put off by the 3 stars warning. Eat it with roti. Crispy !

Totto Ramen’s original ramen shop in Hell’s Kitchen is notorious for its hours-long wait and no-reservations policy. Avoid the hassle at the newly opened location (just a block away).
$10 lunch special is amazing. Comes with rice, naan, lentils, veg of the day, main dish & dessert!
Great place to go before (or after) a night of drinking. The chicken balls are amazing, as is the pork belly special. Food comes out when ready, not at the same time.
As for the custom, take off your shoes by the "genkan" and get ready for THE real Japanese barbecue
Delicious import from Philly. Get the Dan Dan Noodles!! The tofu/fish dishes are also super solid. Tends to be very spicy so go lower if you wimp out on spicy food.
The menu includes things like Dan Dan noodles, beef tendons in chili oil, and dry pepper chicken wings, plus 14 protein-based entrees. The early word is very good.
