eric bornemann: Cool short drive on an unpaved road that’s pretty easy if you have high clearance. Nice that it’s one way. They shot some of Star Wars here.

eric bornemann: Amazing view at amy time of day but spectacular at sunset if there are clouds in the sky. Can be super crowded with aholes flying drones.
eric bornemann: If the light is right this is a really cool place to stop on your way to or from Death Valley. Easy to do with any car and about 10 minutes off the road.

eric bornemann: Obscure and out of the way historic site but worth it if in the area and you like to hike. Be sure to do the overlook trail on the way back. Plan for 3 hours at least.
eric bornemann: Well worth the climb up for an amazing view. Surprisingly a great experience, even as a jaded NewYorker. Buy well in advance and enjoy, unless you are scared of heights.

eric bornemann: Best place to eat in Coolidge if going to casa grande. Nice outdoor seating and good Greek food. Can’t go wrong for lunch. They do have beer and booze.
eric bornemann: Wonderful historic inn with lush grounds and graceful if slightly aging cottages. Good upkeep overall and nice outdoor sitting areas. A real gem in an amazing neighborhood.
eric bornemann: Fun modern Italian joint. The Negroni olive jello is ridiculously good and the rib parmigiana is delicious but can be a bit much. Free bubbly is always welcome. Nice staff.

eric bornemann: Beautiful hiking area, close to the west side of phoenix with great trails and feels secluded even if it’s not. Desert tortoise loop is east and fun.
eric bornemann: The wine is fine but not memorable. Worth a stop if you have kids for the farm animals and food. Can get crowded with drunk aholes on the weekends
eric bornemann: Surprisingly awesome restaurant tucked away in a side street of Ventura. Great patio and cocktail program. The food is playful and delicious with the Caribbean fish stew, fish dip and key lime winners
eric bornemann: Good dinner option when going to the Pantages as it’s right across the street. Ok back patio and decent sushi and cocktails. Good service.
