eric bornemann: Wonderful hotel in a good location for exploring the old town. Try to get a room on the front overlooking the water. Great hotel bar as well.
eric bornemann: Awesome waterfall. Worth the very shot drive from downtown. Climb the stairs, it’s the best view you’ll likely ever get as part of a workout.
eric bornemann: Great views and a good, if crowded, place for a stroll. Cool walkways over the gorge - a good hour or so diversion if you are in the area.

eric bornemann: The jewel of Saratoga. From SPAC to the pools and trails, it’s a great place to explore - and with some neat architecture thrown in as well.
eric bornemann: Great restaurant in a neat old building - fairly inventive menu with stuff you don’t see every day. Lamb and duck mains change often but are usually winners.
eric bornemann: Fun place to explore some unique art. Clearly the work of a strong vision, well worth a stop to get a view on a certain period of art in a one of a kind location.
eric bornemann: Wonderful cozy little inn close to Joshua Tree. Incredibly relaxing lush grounds on the edge of the desert. Great prices and neat history. Only negative - WiFi is bad.
eric bornemann: Starts off boring on concrete but as you keep going over bridges the canyon closes in and there are some lovely trails in among the old oaks. Look out for snakes in summer.
