eric bornemann: Great big patio and delicious food. Bouillabaisse and salmon are fantastic as is the butter. Cocktails are a bit overpriced even for Montecito.
eric bornemann: Nice low key cozy place with great lamb, croquettes, pasta and gnocchi. Cute inside but lovely outdoors. The wine list is damn impressive but the “by the glass” is mostly the owner’s brands
eric bornemann: Great wine from a smaller producer. 2019 Estate Pinot rocks as does the Estate Chardonnay and Syrah from Santa Cruz. But, staff is oblivious and more into talking amongst themselves then helping you.
eric bornemann: Great seafood restaurant that specializes in local fish. The smoked fish chowder is great. Not as nice a location as it’s sister restaurant in Mendocino, but still wonderful food.
eric bornemann: Fun place to go when it’s hot to get into the mountains if you don’t want to exert a vertical climb with kids. We came down under the chairlift and it was pretty steep but fast.
eric bornemann: Beautiful spot and decent cold beer. However as of June 2022 they only have pre-made deli sandwiches for food as they can’t keep a cook.
eric bornemann: Wine is surprisingly good (rose and cab sav), and you really can’t beat the view. The food truck is really tasty but it will take twice as long to get your food as they say.
eric bornemann: Awesome trail with incredible views over the desert- pretty easy for kids. Can be crowded at the top but totally with it. Walk a bit of the PCT for more views.
