Good lattes! My favorite is the Vanilla Latte w/an add pump of vanilla. Friendly staff. Prices are a little high but the quality is worth it.

Caffe Vita, great new place in the neighborhood. My new favorite since it's walking distance. They roast their own beans (thumbs up) and you can get a coffee for $1! A little pricey otherwise.
ignore the rest of the menu and your default latte or americano order and get a cup from their pour over bar. This is how coffee should be made. The guatemala coffee is the best of the current crop.

Great place to grab a coffee while shopping at A.P.C or Mollusk. Good pour over using Stumptown coffee. Limited indoor seating with an outdoor patio. Free wifi too!

Bit tricky to find, but tucked in the new Platform shopping center. An interesting space upstairs (rumor is it'll be a bookstore?) that has poufs and small tables. Not a lot of tables / space to work
Plenty of outlets to do some computing and definitely a great place for a pour over coffee or some beautiful lattes.
Try a cortado (it's basically a macchiato with a more milk but not quite as much as a latte). They also make a great flat white. Love the space, great addition to Echo Park.
Toby owns Easton Gym upstairs and knows his coffee - serves only Blue Bottle, asked for extra pull for my Mocha Latte and it was perfect!
