Worlds away from the OG Chicago locations, this branch is an oasis of indoor/outdoor seating apropos to the general Abott Kinney vibe.

Come charged. It seems all Intelligentsia shops go the extra mile to ensure there are no accessible power outlets. Great brew tho!

The chocolate in the mocha is rich and not too sweet. And the matcha latte is one of the best in town. But yes, this place is expensive AF.
You maybe able to find better roasted beans in LA, but they have the Best Barista for sure: their beans are roasted to the dark side, but always manage to pull out all the nuance in the beans.プラス投票 4週間前
Grab a latte (LA's finest) for 5 bucks and a seat to get some work done (u may need to brin headphones as it does get noisy at times). Park in the back for free and use the back door entrance.

Aron Hegyi7月 30, 2014Interesting set up for a cafe. When it opened, it was revolutionary. Solid espresso drinks, but their roast has been getting lighter in the last couple years (meaning a more sour cup).
LOVE Intelligentsia Coffee. Always a fantastic choice when looking for a high quality coffee drink. Their cappuccinos are hard to beat.

It gets no better than this. From the playful architecture and design, to the sharply tailored and supremely knowledgeable baristas down to the very last drop of Black Cat - Intelli is a must do in LA
The year-round Black cat espresso, despite the revolving door of seasonal coffees, will always do you good. Before 10a, the soundtrack skews Motown & soul.
nice baristas! all their espresso drinks are excellent. It gets crowded at times.

I leave a second tip: it is definitely one of the best coffee I had. They make a great coffee every time.

- I think this is the place where you'll find more Apple products and bearded hipsters than in any other places in Venice. Cool place if you are OK with it. Music too loud though.
Joseph C8月 16, 2014Parking sucks here! You might have to huff it a few blocks but, it's def worth your time! Maybe, grab a bite to eat @ Gjelina, Casa Linda or Hal's first. Then, come chill on a brew & WiFi

Best coffee I've had in LA, hands down. Yeah, it's pricey, but the atmosphere is cool and unique and the baristas are awesome. And they use Strauss milk!!
