Amazing underground tiki bar in the Fairmount hotel. Get a punch bowl and begin your blackout. The crowd is a little fancy but everyone is here to have a good time. Live music here is great too!
Sushi rolls and $25 omokase sashimi should do fine with two people if you're budget conscious. The sashimi is really the kicker at this place: really tasty.

Right next to Tosca, this is truly opposite to that experience. A very low-frills, cash-only bar with an equally low-key atmosphere for getting away from the daily grind. Divey. Beaty. Grimy. Lovey.
Great coffee, nice staff and awesome decor. New favorite coffee spot!! FYI, not much room for sitting so wouldn't recommend for a place to work or catch up with friends.
I come to Mazarine for the outstanding avocado toast but I also like the fact it stays open until 8 and serves beer and wine. A great addition to the coffee shop desert that is this section of Market.

The most peaceful and calming hotel lobby ever! The fragrance; the ambient sound and light; and the furnishings all work together to invoke a pleasant and peaceful feeling every time you enter.
Quite possibly my favorite store in SF. So unique and anything here would make an amazing gift to people in your life that are interesting. I got a red fox tail that's so fluffy and soft.
Really quirky place :) really amazing huge scientific school prints and other old school finds, but don't expect to buy anything more for looking.
