The cauliflowersalad is so delicious and filling! It's heavy as a salad tbh because of all the cauliflower but that won't stop you from finishing that thing because it's DELICIOUS! Great cocktails
This address has housed a bar of some description since 1907, and it feels like it. Think classic cocktails, abundant antiques, some live jazz, and the dress code is, blessedly, Fedora optional.
In a setting that preserves the saloon’s historic design and pays tribute to San Francisco’s Barbary Coast, you'll find classic cocktails and bar snacks like Hangtown Toast and Pigs in a Biscuit. 続きを見る
I like this place better now that it’s not San Francisco Brewing Co. The food and cocktails here are outstanding and they have live jazz on the weekends.
A great bar with amazing history and character. The cocktails are top notch and the live jazz is always a special treat. Good mix of seating styles depending on your mood. A north beach favorite!
A diverse selection of cocktails. If you're not sure ask the bartender to make you something. Be sure to start with the kinds of liquors / drinks you like. Not much on tap, plenty of beers in cans.
Get a cozybooth and sip on the proper cocktails the fine barmen and women of Comstock prepare. Pass on the food which is greasy and heavy, though the Spéculos marshmallowcookie is silly good.
Comstock was formerly a real saloon, and still has the pisser trough to prove it. More notably, it was one of the first SF bars to counter the fetishized cocktail movement with a laidback vibe. 続きを見る
Shot-and-a-beer, anyone? Get yours here from 4 to 7 p.m.; three combos include Four Rosesbourbon and a shortAnchor Steam, Pueblo Viejo tequila and a Tecate, and Bols Genever and a short Trumer Pils. 続きを見る
An ancient and iconic bar that knows how to make classic cocktails and they do it very well. PS: don't pee in the troughs, that haven't done that in years, I don't suggest starting it again :)
Came on the recommendation of an SF native and was not disappointed. Laidback speakeasy vibes all around. Great place to catchup with friends over cocktails or to get your night started.
Best cocktail bar in the city! The Cherry Bounce was amazing, The Martinez will hit the spot & the Sazerac is legendary. Can't go wrong with anything on the cocktail menu!

Snag a seat at the bar, listen to live jazz, and try the Moonraker made with cognac, peach, and absinthe, or put fate into the hands of the mixologist with the Barkeep’s Whimsy.
Old fashioned drinks are served with “traditional” saloon fare like Fried RabbitToast or Beef Shank & Bone MarrowPot Pie. Esquire Magazine listed Comstock in its 2011 list of Best Bars in America.
Low lighting, old school ceiling fans, and jazzy beats inspire images of an old school, steam punk world. Take a date to this charming SF favorite, and keep the Becherovka coming!
This high-end cocktail establishment has polished, Barbary Coast-inspired decor and a cool mezzanine overlooking the main room with an upright piano and room for a stand-up bass and a few others. 続きを見る
The front room is a great place to watch the city pass by while imbibing first rate classic cocktails served by a charming bartender. The olives are darn tasty too.
If you sit at the bar, look down. It's one of the few places in the city with a trough - back in the 49er days men just whipped it out & peed in in the trough, no pesky staggering to the loo!
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Stand at the bar. Look down. See the tiles? That's a trough, meant to be pissed in. This place is legit. So is the bamboococktail. 続きを見る
Try the Fried Squash Blossoms - #kvpinmybelly : #Breakfast before work! Yummy, delicate petals with a savory batter. Also loved the mozzarella cheese on the side
This new bar in a century-old building recalls the wild Barbary Coast red-light district. The bar's signature drink is the city's famous PiscoPunch, made with South American brandy. 続きを見る
Pig and a Biscuit is awesome. Pot Pie is a must. And Barkeep's Whimsey is epic (you give them some direction, i.e. 'i like whiskey' and they make you a whatever drink tickles their fancy).
Great for live music and cocktails but the food is overpriced for what it is. The hamburger for $15 is really awful, and cheaply done. I would come back for the cocktails.
