Awesome veggie burger - I get it (usually with the special of the week) and I'm not even vegetarian. Also the fried chicken sandwich and milkshakes are bomb.

Great beer bar with pool tables (which aren't hard to get on weekdays). Especially good for sours - they usually have multiple Almanacs and other types on tap.
Unreal Italian sandwiches packed with even more meat than Deli Board. Better than Ike's. The Salumi is piled high with salamis, served on a perfectly crunchy hero.
Standard beef pho is solid. Bun bo hue is great if you like sour and spicy. Hu tieu (chicken-garlic broth) is perfect for a cold day.
Sit at the bar if you have a small group (there is always a wait). My usual order is an aperitivo (cocktail), trippa alla romana and a half order of carbonara.
Dog friendly patio with an eclectic crowd and live music. Reasonably priced. Also free wifi, if you must work.

One of my favorite restaurants in sf. Equally good for eating around at the bar, or going family style with a big group. The drunken noodles are a must if they're on the menu!

Good no-frills, homestyle Korean food. The actual restaurant is tiny and always packed, but you can get takeout or delivery (through Postmates). I like the soft tofu soup and cold noodles (naengmyeon)

unpretentious and pretty close to perfect: stumptown coffee, dynamo donuts, anthony's cookies, patio, wifi, bazillions of sandwiches under $10, reasonable hours, live music, beer, magazines, etc...

The portions are perfect! Not huge American ones that leave you stuffed with tons of leftovers; but Japanese portions that leave you satisfied and still able to move. Everything is delicious!
My new favorite ramen place in SF. Super delicious thick broth. Get here early to avoid the line.
Arguably one of the best beer selections in the Bay Area. They update their menu daily, so there's always a new beer to try.
The Shake Shack of Greek food. Superb sandwiches, wine and frozen yogurt. Sidewalk seating, too – a rare thing in SF.
Surprisingly well priced for the location and ambience. The pastas are good. Several vegetarian options.
$10 happy hour special every day (chicken karaage sandwich + draft beer + chips) and $5 wings special during Warriors games. Great drinks, food, and lots of TVs for sports!
