Adam QR8月 17, 2014You can park, collect your pickup and depart from the red zone car park in less than 25-minutes. Don't bother with the expensive pickup zone.
if you are early and looking for quite place follow the 81-88 gates sign.
Skip the first WH Smith cause of the queues. There's plenty just past duty free!
If you like shopping, this is great. But plan in enough time to go to gates as you are guided along all shops, wasting a lot of time #stansted#inefficient#

Paul Morris3月 14, 2013You can only use 2 clear bags for liquids even though dispensers sell in 4's. Stansted seem to have their own ruling on liquids over and above the EU directive of 1ltr in 100ml bottles!

Aga K.3月 17, 2015Very long queues to the incoming EU border in the morning! Take it into consideration when booking a transfer to London because we waited 40mins for checking documents and nearly missed our bus!
Decent airport with lots of shops and choices to eat. Total con that you have to pay £3.50 for up to 10 mins drop off!

Modern airport but it’s a giant ugly warehouse which can be quite difficult to find your way around and is chronically understaffed.

There's computers with printer in several places around the checkins to print boarding passes. Takes £2 of coins—pricier but no mucking around for a copy shop/net cafe in town, especially on Sunday!
Very nice and easy routes out of the airport! Baggage reclaim is quick too

I love Stansted airport .. easy in, easy out. Everything centralized in one place so there's no confusing different terminals and whatnot ...

Lost&found and "left luggage" have been moved near the arrivals area (next to Burger King). They are no longer between check-in area G and H as indicated in the airport map and various signs! Arrivals: don't wait in toilet lines before passport control. The queues are much shorter after. Also, if you're heading downtown by Stansted Express, just use their queue-free toilets at the platform

Quite big airport. Gates 40-50 are towards the opposite direction. Getting to the gate usually involves going down stairs.
Susan M4月 19, 2013They have a Yo Sushi but that doesn't make up for how money-grabbing this airport has become since BAA sold it. Pity, used to be one of the good ones. Now it's on a par with Luton. :(
4 hours free Wi-Fi internet. Free plastic bags before security. Good restaurants choice in food court ✈️
- Mark Clulow9月 28, 2015Arrive with LOTS of time to spare. They charge £3 just to drop people off now which results in a massive queue out front. Secondly, pay £5 for fast track security lane once inside to save an hour.
