Most of the menu is straight-up Creole, among the best in town. You will likely have to wait for a seat, but the Maple Leaf Bar is half a block away, so it’s no big deal. [Eater 38 Member]
The food here was AMAZING. Goat cheese fries, lamb sliders, shrimp pasta, all fantastic. Great little place with really nice service and music.
Get the off the menu one-eyed jack. It's a toad in a hole plus avocado + sirracha - what more does one need? Ok maybe one of their double chocolate cookies.

Highly recommend doing the small airboat tour! Guide was awesome and very passionate about the swamps. Learned a lot and saw some gators! The boat really whips around the bayou, fun experience!
Fantastic croissants. Almond are my favorite, but blueberry and chocolate are great as well. Get a croissant, a coffee, and sit in the window and watch people wander by.
Thursday-Saturday 7pm-1am. Sunday 6pm-midnight. Check out local artists' handmade goods in between music sets in an open air setting.
This coffee and doughnut shop makes a great addition to your breakfast rotation; just know that the sandwiches, like the fried chicken and five-spice duck sliders, may just bring you back for dinner.
Savor every bite. Each flavor is simply delicious. Definitely save room for the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. That alone is worth finding this gem off the beaten path.

Try to maximize what you can taste from the menu because ALL of it is amazing. Pounded shrimp + noodles, crawfish bisque, and swordfish + farro w. peanut vinagarette, are keepers. Don't miss the pie!
The balcony on weeknights is one of my favorite "decompression chambers" in town. The stellar beer selection is second to none in this city, and deserving of world recognition.
