AYHJA4月 22, 2017Life changing! I live in Washington DC and have been to the Smithsonian lots of times. That said, this museum met and exceeded my expectations. It's worth its own trip to New Orleans.
HISTORY4月 5, 2010The museum opened its doors on June 6 2000, the 56th anniversary of D-Day. The museum is located here because this is where the "Higgins Boats", vital to D-Day operations were designed, built & tested

Priya Tungrus8月 27, 2015A nice museum, mainly showing the American efforts of WW2. Spent 1.5 hours here, but that was fast. Plan for at least 3 hours. The movie is an hour long to plan that on top.

There is lots of construction going on here, so please, do your research before you come! The corner store of the museum on Andrew Higgins and Magazine is NOT the entrance! Entrance is in LA Pavilion!
