The Berlin Wall Memorial consists of the Chapel of Reconciliation, the Documentation Center, the outdoor exhibition, the exhibition at the S-Bahn Station Nordbahnhof and the Visitors' Center.
David Hassellhoff, is huge in Germany. The Hoff performed his hit "Looking For Freedom" while standing on the Berlin Wall in 1989.
Excellent. A lot of time required to read everything. During the “Third Reich” this was the location of the headquarters of the Secret State Police, the SS and the Reich Security Main Office.

‘Alex’ to Berliners, a cattle market in the Middle Ages, a military parade square and an exercise ground for nearby barracks until the mid 19th century. U Bahn stop for multiple line changeovers
Rosa was a Marxist theorist, philosopher, economist and revolutionary socialist of Polish-Jewish descent who became a naturalized German citizen. She didn't have any plats in her hair.
In 1950 it was named Luxemburgplatz, then in 1978 precise in Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz to avoid confusion with the country. The color of the station is yellow. Good place to pop out for a wander
Terrible airport - out of date and slow passport control. Saving grace was the typically efficient German baggage service - thumbs up
Class Hotel - excellent and friendly staff. Fantastic and spacious rooms, tastefully decorated. Only downside is the expensive minibar. Great nights sleep
Worth a visit, particularly at night during October when the light festival is on - uplit trees and projections onto buildings give this place a magical feel.

Chain restaurant. Very odd approach to self service. Would be better adopting the Nandos philosophy. Good value mid range italian fare. Tables come with chili oil and fresh basil plant - nice touch
The centre of new Berlin - so much history to read about in this area. Lots of high end hotels and US chain shops around here
Brutal if effective memorial - thought provoking if unspectacular. Parents letting kids dick about climbing everywhere clearly not teaching them the point of coming here - it's not a playground.
Still the best Debenhams in the NorthWest. Look out for a bargain in the Blue Cross sales
