Phat Buoy: Fantastic boutique hotel offering real value for money in a good location - only 5 minutes walk to nearest metro and a few bars/restaurants nearby in the evening. Excellent service and good breakfast
Phat Buoy: Good tea room and lunch offerings. Interesting historical venue with a reasonable entry fee. DON'T go on Saturdays as its closed to the general public
Phat Buoy: Only ever been here for conferences or evening events. Excellent service on each occasion. Good venue in pleasant grounds with ample parking space. Good buffet spread with hot n cold options
Phat Buoy: Good venue for business functions but don't think the price justifies the standard of accommodation. Proximity to Blackpool also scores minus points
Phat Buoy: Used to be a cracking GastroPub before management change - brilliant black pudding and egg starter and great fish n chips. What a shame its changed
Phat Buoy: Very Big McDs - many memories of children's birthday parties in the 80's. Where's Ronald McDonald gone!?!? That paedo-clown look had the kids flocking in!
Phat Buoy: Used to be THE go to shoe shop in Preston. The foot width measuring machine was my highlight of many a Saturday afternoon with the parents. My Dad loved that machine!
Phat Buoy: Been refurbished more times than I've had hot dinners. Thinks it's a wine bar in a traditional pub - all very confusing. Great place to meet friends before grabbing a bus into Preston. Outdoor seating
Phat Buoy: Excellent tapas - you really can't go wrong ordering anything here. Some good money saving deals on multi purchases. Try their sister restaurant Duk which in my opinion is slightly better
Phat Buoy: Decent pizza. Crusts are ultra thin almost to the point of being cardboardy around the crusts. Very high quality of meat toppings compared to most - definitely worth a try
Phat Buoy: Excellent Carribbean fare. The pulled chicken with rice and the burrito options are all brilliant. Only complaint is sometimes food not served piping hot. Indoor seating is limited and basic - BYOB!
Phat Buoy: Hearty portions would be an understatement - they are huge (this is a good thing!). Good value for money for average-good traditional pub fare
Phat Buoy: Kingfisher on tap always a bonus. Average to good quality Indian food. Polite and attentive staff. Worth a try but probably not for a special occassion
Phat Buoy: Not the most hygienic takeaway going but meat feast at 2am after a skinful hits the spot. Would only come here if in the vicinity and rat arsed after a night out
Phat Buoy: Run of the mill Chinese buffet. Above average food in nice surroundings - better selection up the road @Buffet on Friargate which has more of a canteen feel but superior food.
Phat Buoy: Unremarkable Italian fare - my least favourite of the family group of restaurants. Poor service on occassions, but worth popping in for the 2 course lunchtime deal under a tenner
Phat Buoy: It's been taken off the menu now but ask if you can have the steak sandwich with melted blacksticks blue cheese for lunch - friggin' awesome
