The last easyjet flight from Edinburgh goes to the South Terminal but because it is posted as North Terminal they have to bus you, every time. Thought that's what the shuttle was for?
do not use gatwick express, it's too expensive, buy the ticket to Londonbridge station by the first capital connect, it's only 8'90 pounds! you'll get to london in 40 minutes
South terminal: for healthy option: Pret-A-Manger upstairs. For quick and cheap: McDonalds upstairs. For overpriced: Nandos upstairs. Don't go to gates until need to, nothing there.
i was so hungover going through this airport I can't quite remember anything about it! I think it was nice? Oh yes, don't go to the gate early, in the winter time it is freezing!
Bring a book if you're flying FlyBe. Every time I get a quiet flight with them, there's a mysterious technical error that means we have to board the next one.
Trying to access the Internet here is the worst. You have to jump through many hoops creating an account, etc. and it barely works half the time... so frustrating. Duty free is cheap, though. BAILEY'S
Feels overcrowded, so many people packed into a relatively small terminal. Rather poor selection of eateries. That said traveling through, security checks, customs and baggage claim is pretty smooth
