Jack5月 16, 2017Security is a mess give yourself time. North terminal has better food then South terminal. Express train is not worth it, since it takes only 30 minutes less and costs more than double.
Can you imagine a London AirPort without any electricity plug working? Well that is Gatwick!
Pert are using Specials to advertise the Xmas sandwich, but no offer attached. Bad form guys, I now won't be stopping by for a tea. Get your social right!

Save yourself for the swanky new toilets outside of arrivals. Look amazingly out of place.
Never under any circumstance, change money at the moneycorp currency exchanges(its all moneycorp) The whole airport stays afloat from the money they suck off poor suckers from these joints.

We cant buy the ticket in the train no more, has to be before getting on the platform.
THIS IS NOT LONDON. Fabulous airport though, especially since the improvements!

Don't do what I did and sit on the wing of the plane when it takes off!
The e-gates are finally working. Will get you past passport control in no time.

- Don't expect much in terms of comfort or modern facilities. It's a very tired and cramped place.
Mat Collis2月 16, 2015Gatwick is ok now. Used to be a lot worse. Pretty good selection of shops with food and clothes outlets. Avoid comptoir libonais at all costs though!

I don't like going through this airport, there's always a hassle. I bought round trip Gatwick Express & found out on day of return there was no service! Ended up taking taxi. Nope never again!
- Kamal B3月 15, 2014Taxi. never ever take a taxi between Heathrow airport and Gatwick. Robbery. 160 £. Take bus. Frequent service comfortable and MUCH cheaper.
