I love you, New York, but your airport is an absolute hole. Sad, but true.
Laur Lo Ski11月 25, 2014They've really improved LGA since I've flown out of there last! It looks very nice. Baggage claim however is still slow as hell! They do check your baggage claim slips now which is an improvement
Larisa Grollemond8月 13, 2016Terminal D is the best option for dining, but there's a reason LGA is widely despised among travelers. Plan to leave ASAP.
I have more places to sit, eat, pee & feel air conditioning in my house than the entire @SouthwestAir terminal here.
If there's a chance that the sky's are going to be cloudy. Expect delays. Also well past the time to upgrade the terminal
Rafael Alencar7月 24, 2013If you are traveling alone and want to go to Manhattan get the Airporter bus, it's only $13, can pay with cash, credit card and debit!
Get here early! Traffic is awful- took me over an hour to go from Roosevelt Ave/74ave to the airport on the SBS bus.
Transferring on the shuttle bus from one gate to the next a a hassle, especially given the fact that boarding to the bus platform requires you to use steep stairs.
The new terminal is just a delight. There are more food options at the gates after the food court.
Very impressed with the new Delta Terminal. Plenty of seats and electrical outlets. Free iPads to use while you wait and decent food options. Makes delays less aggravating.

Like craft beer? Best place is right next to security line by terminal C, not much else... And be nice to the staff, everybody vents on them
If you need a taxi when arriving at Terminal D, you’ll need to take a taxi shuttle bus to where the taxis are waiting. Due to construction, taxis are picking up outside of the airport.
Leaves top and bottom of the hour. $10 for crew members $12 for everyone else. Free wifi. Cheap way to get from one airport to the other
Get the garlic & eggplant chicken at the Chinese place in Terminal C. It's the best Chinese in New York
Lines for the taxis are horrendous. Boyfriend suggested Uber, SO convenient &quick! Download the app& use the promo code ds89j, & it credits you $20 to use towards your fare, so cheaper than cab, too

If you ar flying make sure you go to the right terminal if ur going to boston, DC or Chicago ur likely on Delta shuttle which is marne terminal A if u screwed up there is a shuttle bus...
I can not stand this airport-B terminal in particular. Everyone is crammed in like sardines under a low ceiling-you can feel all the germs in the hot air.
This place is no different than the NY Port Authority. The only difference is that there's actually ppl telling you where to go because of TSA minimum standards.
Yes it can be very stressful here. Arrive plenty early and take advantage of enriching your cultural knowledge.
Highly recommended when looking to catch a flight. Even then that's a stretch, though. Fly on Christmas if you can its quiet and flights are on time!
I'm liking the new walkway that connects terminal D to C...very refreshing. Now time for NYPA to get the funds together for an outer facelift...especially to American's terminal.
Mary 👹 McCarroll8月 2, 2013Eat before going through security if you're flying American! All of the food options blow. No hot meals other than Auntie Ann's and some self-serve soup.
For car rentals, take the Red Line bus shuttle to the rental car stop which is included with Terminal A
If you're leaving from A gates and have priority access, use regular security lane for faster service. EVERYONE has priority access, and TSA alternates taking 1 from each line.

Perhaps the PANYNJ ought to show NYC some respect and upgrade LGA. ITS A THIRD WORKD AIRPORT IN A FIRST WORLD CITY! This is a disgrace and insult to NYC.
Fun game: See if you can count how many different colors the antiquated arrival/departure TV screens are!
Terminal c and d have good places to order food and drinks. Sit down by an iPad and order away.

Terminal D is where it’s at! Legit food at Rossi & so much natural light ✨
Another favorite launch and landing pad for the NY Cosmos, LGA welcomed the team back from their 2013 NASL Soccer Bowl Championship victory! If you see the team on their way to a game, snap a pic!- Lots of construction = lots of traffic on the approach. Give ample time (+1 hour) to get to your terminal. Also, terminal B had zero food options, so plan ahead.
Convenient and friendly. Security is quick. Curbside check-in is totally worth it!
If you're parking in the Long Term lot and need to get to anything other than Terminal B/C, budget yourself another 15 minutes.
Check out the Delta Airlines upgrade! The restaurants and boarding waiting areas are stocked with iPads #cool
