No. 28 is super yummy. Never understood the fascination with rice n beans until eating here. Totally legit!
Chicken tikka masala is really good and spicy. Unlike most Indian recipes. Mango lassi is real tangy :)
Espresso is great. Thrilled to finally have a coffee shop in the hood. Skip the food though.
Butter masala dosa is huge!!! Samosas are great! Try a mango lassi (yogurt type drink) for a sweet starter.
Queso falls flat! They fry their own tortilla chips which are horribly greasy! Doesn't go well with the Queso that takes on a weird texture and seperates from the beer. Stick to the grilled cheese.
Very tasty mexican food! Drinks, chips, enchiladas and chimichangas are all good.
Carnitas tacos are so delicious! Also some of the beat guacamole. It's really fresh.
It's been a while since the last check in. Ordered the fondue again and it was TERRIFIC! Maybe a new cook?
Country fried steak pretty good! Served with a side of cheese grits and a biscuit, which was extremely over cooked :( Surprisingly some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had.
hot toddy's are a MUST when it starts to cool off outside. Food is ok, but I mainly stick to cocktails here.
Pork taquitos are delicious! Pickle appetizer is ...unusual. and of coarse, their signature burger will make you want rosemary aioli on everything!
Crostinis are the way to go! 4 is good for 2 pl. Anything with egg salad on it is good. The paninis are good to go but not as flavorful as crostini.
Go-to neighborhood bar. Great beer selection, wed night tough trivia and great local crowd.
Possibly one of the most tender burgers ( I got bison) I've ever had! Fried pickles are sweet, FYI.
Caramel martini is delicious and passionfruit mojito is super good. Skip the croque Monsieur though... Sub par

Adorable bakery, but due to the mass production, some items tend to be freezer burnt or stale. Choose wisely :)

Worst food ever! Jalapeño poppers, 5 bite size to an order, were freezer burnt and came with the saddest garnish of chopped cabbage I've ever seen. A week later we are still wondering whats the point?

The most AMAZING burger I've ever had... Battered bacon? YES please! Sloppy joe is ok, popcorn is good to try, bread pudding is good if you catch it made fresh.
The classic sangria is delicious and surprisingly potent! The pecan crusted bass is really good, ESP the crema sauce on it.
My favorite cafe in LIC! Eggs anything is great, croque madame is very big, cappuccinos are delicious too.
My first taste of dim sum. Either I don't like it or I need to try another spot. Not much flavor, lots of options, kind of felt like leftovers.
Pork belly al pastor tacos are really good. The skinny margarita is really strong. Skip the fundido (it's okay) and save room for the tres leches.
Caramel and cheese empanada ( sounds weird) is incredible! Crazy cheap and loads of choices.
Pumpkin ravioli with sage butter sauce and cavatelli pasta are delicious! But the standout was the dessert.... plum something with a marscapone topping. It was like eating Christmas on a spoon.
Lovely cafe, but the service is lacking. My omelet was beautifully cooked and the coffee was pretty good.
If you need a dessert for a dinner party or special occasion, the chocolate mousse cake is a sure thing! Had rave reviews from my guests about this cake. Excellent tarts and cappuccino too.
House cocktails are great! Frites with curry mayo are awesome. Super cute interior too.

This is the BEST sausage, egg & cheese on a roll I've ever had!! I can never eat another Bfast sandwich again.
Meh... $13 is a bit much for a sub. Had the club and the chicken balsamic. It was ok but nothing special.
The pressed brisket sandwich is amazing! The brisket is so soft and the bread is buttery with a perfect crunch on the outside. Good French fries too!
Pizza is solid, beer is good and the bartender's are very friendly. Don't be scared off by the stark exterior.
Great milkshakes and malts. Burgers are always good. Sweet potato fries yes, cheese fries no... Not worth the price.

BIM BIM BOP! I think it's laced with crack bc it's seriously addictive. Chicken or beef are awesome. Also the Kim chi BIM BIM is equally mind blowing.
Noodle soup is awesome! Also lemongrass chicken curried fried rice is delicious. Both dishes are packed with flavor and perfect for cold weather too. :)
Skip it.. Better coffee with better service elsewhere...I would rather walk to the BP to drink crappy coffee then to endure their bad service.
Brown sugar latte is amazing!! Pimento cheese and sausage jalapeño kolaches are delicious. Laid back staff and good tunes :)
Fast, made to order sushi for a quick bite at lunch. Crunchy Spicy tuna roll is fantastic. Will come back again for dinner.
Creative and innovative menu. Best cooked duck (duck leg with honey and mustard seed) I've ever eaten. Smoked chocolate soufflé was too smokey, but interesting idea. Nice, chill service too.
SPLIT the big potato pancake filled with goulash. It's massive! If you like dill, order the pickled cucumber soup. It's amazing!
The BOB and Green Bob are delicious! I love the cream cheese on the BOB. Free WiFi and good coffee too :)
Breakfast: order the egg salad with bacon on a biscuit. It's phenomenal! Brunch: order the buttermilk pancakes. Coming from a gal that's a waffle loyalist, these pancakes will change for your life ;)
Order the African flower! Its kne od the smoothest drinks ive ever tasted. For food, the chicken and also steak sandwiches are very big and hearty. Definitely a step up from usual pub fare.
Burnt ends are amazing! Great beer choice and they have by far the best BBQ sauce i have ever tasted.. and I grew up on BBQ. Pork ribs are a little tough and the brisket needs a little more flavor.
Both pork tacos are super tummy! Next time I'll try the burrito.. It looks delicious ;)
Delicious guacamole! Chicken verde enchiladas are yummy. If you like mole, some if the best I've ever tasted.
Sometimes the donuts aren't ready until 10am.... 50 min later everything was set right in the world when I ate the honey donut. Also anything cream filled is A+. Also the BEST linzer cookie in NYC.
I sometimes go an extra train stop just so I can order their Lavender Latte. It's HEAVENLY!!!
The Philly cheesesteak is AMAZING!!! The 3 cheese sauce takes this sandwich to a different level of awesome. Slaw is A+. BYOb, $2.79/pp. The burnt ends are good, but John Brown BBQ keeps 1st place.
Tres leches (pic) is beautiful but really bland and soggy. The Mexican Burger is ok. After several meals here, everything is just ok. Service is friendly though.
The lagman soup and meat pies are hearty and savory, but the standout is the lamb kebab and pelav! Delicious :)
Nice iced coffee and sandwiches for lunch. The chicken avocado sandwich is great :)
