- A great meal for 2, at one of the best Chinese places in NYC: pork soup dumplings, double cooked pork, and ma po tofu with minced pork (extra spicy). Conveniently in the middle of the west village.
- Jessie Catana9月 19, 2015Quite satisfying. Make sure to get your veggies in and try the sautéed snow pea shoots-so delicious! Soup dumplings were good too. On the smaller side compared to Joes Shanghai but flavor was good
- Leigh Sansone5月 22, 2013For my money, it's Chong Qing chicken, Ma Po Tofu, and rice. Mix the two and eat till you're numb. Also loved the dried string beans with minced pork. Delicious!! All 3 dishes pictured below.
- Genevieve Crain10月 20, 2013One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to! The food is rich in flavor, but not greasy or heavy. Recommend the Hot and Sour Soup an crepe-like scallion pancakes. Cozy & super-friendly staff..
- Serious Eats4月 12, 2013Reliable Sichuan dishes and Cantonese classics at the Upper West Side branch of this mini chain.
- Tim Vetter6月 17, 2010Unusual for NY, they serve good exemplars of dishes with the mala/麻 (numbing heat) of the Szechuan peppercorn. An acquired taste, but if your palate's adventurous, try the mapo tofu or dan dan noodles
- Ricky Sherrill3月 26, 2015A good place to grab some takeout on your way home. Order ahead and it will be waiting.
- momofuku1月 31, 2012follow dave chang’s advice: get the fish hot pot. but order it without fish, and then add pork, chicken and noodles.
- Natasha Taylor10月 9, 2011Crabmeat and pork soup dumplings are a must! The beef with cumin is also pretty delicious.
- Amy Bush11月 14, 2011Must have an order of the soup dumplings. Best surprise for your taste bud ever!
- Ahsap Voliamzee12月 27, 2011Good choice of spicy Food and not a pricey place in manhattan.Spacious and very cosy.
- Kristi Evans4月 3, 2011Great lunch special. $7.95 for a big plate of food, plus soup, soda & white or brown rice
- Bravo11月 12, 2010Stomach destroying hot oil bathed scechuan goodness. -Seth Caro, Top Chef Just Desserts
- Lunch specials are a great value: entree, rice, and choice of soup or soda for less than a Hamilton
- Maria Gambale1月 10, 2010Lychee martini is great. And the dan dan noodles and wonton app are the rare authentic Sichuan touches.
- Jo Trent1月 31, 2015The food is generally good, but don't EVER order the General Tso's. There's way too much breading and it tastes like you're eating seasoned cardboard.
- Better eat here fast; every other Asian restaurant I've become mayor of has closed :-/
- Rumpus Parable4月 6, 2013It's okay. Had the fried vegetable dumplings. Wouldn't mind munching there again, but not a favorite.
