This black squid ink pasta with clams jumped right into my top 5 favorite pasta dishes in NYC. Everything else we had was top notch and the jovial Italian atmosphere rounds the whole experience out.

Kind of an under-the-radar pick, but the burger here is one of the best I've had in NYC. Also, if you don't order the Scotch Egg I'm going to come down and punch you in the face. It's delicious.
The Hecho en Humo is a Mexican take on the Old Fashioned: tequila instead of whiskey, and a Mexican Coke reduction instead of simple syrup.
The duck noodle soup is a delicious, not spicy option, as are the slightly sweet, slightly chewy pork and crab dry noodles.
Momofuku-lite, and that's a really big compliment. I'd suggest getting most all of the non-ramen options and then splitting a ramen (if you're with your honey and splitting a soup isn't soups awkward)

Do yourself a huge favor. Just wait until Sundown Brunch (4pm-8pm) instead of trying to squeeze in there early. Same exact specials, a calmer wait staff and alot less noisy.

Great lil French bistro. Cheese plate + 1/2 order of asparagus ravioli were great apps. Wife liked Bouillabaisse. The hanger steak frites was perfectly cooked. Excellent service too.
Soup dumplings are both fascinating and delicious. I liked the pork slightly more than the crab. You'll be stuffed but leave a little room for a visit to the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory.

We usually pick up our Yellow (pineapple, jicama, lemon) or Eastern Promise (lemon grass, Anjou pear, cucumber, ginger, lime, kaffir lime leaf) juices to go.
This bar has about 200 absurdly obscure beers (including 21 on tap). The Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar is a great double IPA.
I don't care if the staff are on the incompetent side, and the manager is rude, if I'm going to break my diet, a doughnut ice cream sandwich with pretzel, red velvet and chocolate is the way to go.
