A small art gallery in Wolverhampton. Entrance now from the side. King Kong Maquette a must see. Cafe and gift shop. A short walk from the railway station and tram line.
Large art gallery and museum in Coventry. Dippy the dinosaur book in advance for free but was not too busy. Temporary exhibits and permanent ones. Alfred's Cafe for lunch.
After a look around the museum. Stop at Alfred's for a coffee and sandwich. They do toasties and jacket potatoes. Was a view to the Coventry Council House outside.
Get to New Street Station without going outside (from Moor Street Station) by heading inside, then over to the West Mall, and over the link bridge. Pallasades being redeveloped into Grand Central.
Went for the Westside Brummie photography exhibition with one of my photos. So first time inside. Was nice. Not somewhere I'd usually go.
A historic cathedral in the Gun Quarter. First visit inside with Igers Birmingham photography group. Got access to the crypt downstairs. Plenty to photograph. And share later on social media.
Nice Costa in Bearwood. Opposite the Bearwood Corks Club. Costa WiFi. Comfortable store. Barista lady called me sweetheart. Assume she calls everyone that? Near the bus stops.
The bridge on Winson Green Road. To the BCN Mainline. On my visit towpath closed to the north so walked down to Rotton Park Junction to get onto the Soho Loop.
Close to views of the Birmingham skyline at Spring Hill. Get back on the Soho Loop. Cyclists using the canal as well as walkers. Was part of the towpath closed to Soho Wharf on my visit.
Nice meal. Gets busy at the weekend. Doesn't feel like you are in Solihull. Pasta crisps on the house, but also ordered some. Further away from other restaurants in Solihull Town Centre.
