The Burne-Jones windows have been restored for the Divine Beauty Project. The at Night event by Luxmuralis has been held twice in January 2023 and 2024. There is also Christmas in Cathedral Square.
Trains between Birmingham and Worcester with West Midlands Railway. A lot of the Class 172's are now orange and purple. Trains from Dorridge or Stratford-upon-Avon. Some skip Langley Green. Blackheath
Right at the top of the Erdington High Street. Is a short walk to the bus stops on Sutton New Road. Looked spacious and quiet on my visit. The Outer Circle bus routes aren't far but bit of a walk.
Lots of lanes. Family fun. The oldest surviving alley in Birmingham. Also has a bar and arcade gaming machines. Barriers can go up for kids to avoid gutter balls. Laser Quest upstairs. Ex cinema.
It's nearby. Seen it for over 30 years, and been on New Year's Eve 2018. Nice three course meal. Warm inside. O2 WiFi. Car park at the back. Operated by Ember Inns.
Small hidden park behind the Co-op. Murals on the wall make it look nice. Local history including the Cadbury's and Austin's. One exit neat the Friends Meeting House. The other entrance over The Bourn
Terminus outside of Selfridges on Moor Street. New Platinum buses introduced in late 2018. Get the 50 to Moseley and Kings Heath via the Moseley Road and Alcester Road. Free WiFi and charging points.
O2 WiFi from the Fort Shopping Park. Gets full at midday. Same drinks / food as other Costa Coffee stores. In walking distance of the Outer Circle 11A and 11C bus routes.
In walking distance of the 11A / 11C via the Fort Parkway. Bus stops either side of M6 on Bromford Lane. O2 WiFi. Not very pedestrian friendly! Needs better public transport connections!
They have their own WiFi now (unable to login). But found could use EE WiFi with BT. EE shop a few doors down. Quiet in the morning to have your coffee.
