I'd say it's gritty enough to meet my standards. Powdered hand soap is a nice touch. I'm unfortunate enough to sometimes walk by in the early morning (on my way to work) and it's always in full swing.

Great spot to have a few strong drinks after work. 5 minute bus ride from the Culver City Expo line.
One of best dives in West LA. Full bar (no wine tho), two pool tables and the longest shuffle board I've ever seen.

It is in Culver City after all...- Curtis is the best bartender, my friends and I love coming here. Stiff drinks, shuffleboard, 2 pool tables and a juke box, what more can you ask for

Insanely cheap. And they do potluck dinners around the holidays. This is your new favorite neighborhood bar.
