    The Raviolo di ricotta is decadent and wonderful. Rich egg yolk, nutty brown butter, salty aged cheese, sweet, creamy ricotta enclosed in perfect fresh pasta to form a luxurious, sexy umami bomb.

    The focaccia is huge but soo light and airy. The ravioli as good as everyone says, and then some. And the fried tuscan chicken is juicy with a nice kick. The occidental pinot noir was a bonus! Perfect

    Fresh pastas are amazing. Hard to go wrong. They also have great cocktails and a wine list where every bottle is just $40. My favorite, though, are their roasted meats. They'll often roast a whole pig

    Super trendy/warm ambiance. Agnolotti was delish. My boyfriend had two servings of the wild nettle &Chesnut honey tortellini. He said it was heaven in a pasta pocket and the best pasta he ever had!

    Trendy place with a great wine list. Server recommended amazing wines that went well with food and also my prefs. Mushroom, kale & smoked ricotta pizza was delicious. Highly recommend the desserts.

    My runner-up favorite restaurant in SF. What can I say? The food is awesome and the service is perfect. Non-reserve wines are all $40/bottle. NB: Sunday suppers and weekday brown bag lunches!

    The pastas are all handmade, and if there's any variation of bolognese on the menu, order it. The pizzas have a crackly, paper thin crust with a delicate sprinkling of local, seasonal ingredients. 続きを見る

    No reservations? No worries. Cozy up to the fire at the chef's counter. Enjoy a close-up view of the pizza, veggie and wood-fired prep and friendly conversation with the sous chefs.

    Be hungry when you come -- everything is good -- but cocktails are a little sweet so ask for them without syrup (it's not listed)

    Any Gelato is fantastic. Madeleine's mint gelato is just the best mint icecream ever, kudos to Madeleine. And then there's their rooftop honey comb gelato, it's so good, kudos to the bees.

    Definitely a favorite for Italian in the city. The pasta is insane. Pizza is as you’d expect from a wood fire oven. Cocktails are dependably solid (try the espresso martini with bourbon).

    The all $50 wine list is a cool idea. Sit at the bar in front of the pizza oven on a chilly night & listen to a tech bro try to impress his date by speaking Spanish to the cooks.

    Прекрасное место, шикарная еда! Начните с вкуснейшего Беллини! Равиоли с рикоттой и яйцом это маст хэв!)) Чипсы из цукини и сочная пицца толщиной с бумагу покорила окончательно..) оценка 10 из 10!!!

    Best pasta I have ever tasted!! Raviolo (not ravioli!) With egg and brown sugar was to die for! The triangolini with chives and corn also nice but a bit sweet.

    Mushroom,leek and ricotta pizza is yummy. As an appetizer, avocado salad and potato & garlic soup is definitely recommended. Panna cotta with honeycombs is great.

    Warm environment, great service, and delicious food. We ordered the prosciutto appetizer, mushroom pizza, raviolo, and sirloin. The only thing we would not order again is the sirloin.

    Modern Italian in North Beach. Every meal I've had there (including brunch) was a treat for the eyes and mouth. And they offer lovely sidewalk seating.

    매달 음식 메뉴가 바뀝니다. 늘 항상 좋은 메뉴로 알차게 꾸며집니다. 테이블 보다는 Bar seat에 앉아 요리사들이 요리 하는 과정을 보면서 식사를 즐기면 더욱 좋습니다. 하지만 좀 뜨겁습니다^^

    The raviolo di ricotta with farm egg is fantastic. Use a spoon so you don’t leave any of the filling/sauce behind.

    Most plates come from the open hearth, including succulent, spit-roasted meats and wood-fired pizzas. The pastas are a must—try the buttery raviolo di ricotta with farm egg.

    Mimosa was really fresh, so good match for hot day's brunch. I ordered asparagus, ravioli, and halibut. Not big-volume, but so tasty. Food was served with yummy focaccia. Atmosphere was stylish.

    This is certainly the best Italian in SF and that’s a damning indictment of the Italian food scene here. It is totally fine—wonderful relative other north beach options—but just not that great.

    Amazing food. The Sunday fixed menu was awesome: tasty, varied and filling. Except for the still water bottle: it tastes like tap water for $12.

    Get there early and grab a seat at the bar. Drink by the glass so you can experience as many of the amazing Italian varietals as possible. Menu changes alot. Put yourself in the waiter's hands.

    It's off-menu, but the vegan risotto with brussels sprouts is AMAZING. I wanted to lick the plate, but this is a fancy-ish place, so I kept it together like a lady.

    Both the pizzas and pastas are great but the real highlight is the focaccia bread you get at the beginning. It's incredible! And the wine selection is fabulous.

    Cotogna has among the best pasta dishes in San Francisco. It's pricey and the portions are small but expect to eat really well!

    Truly rustic Italian food from a 2011 James Beard awarded chef, this place has my heart. Like Delfina, Cotogna makes delicious simple pastas and pizzas.
