Outstanding hospitality! Mr. Heimann is a true renneissance person who can talk just about anything and in the meantime he will tell you everything about his wine and serve great cold platter.
Amazing view on Lake Ohrid from the terrace. You can try the endemic type of trout here - Koran and it tastes really good. Good service. You can pay also in eur or denars.
The hotel has an italian restaurant on the terrace (top floor) with great view, but it's really hard to find. Pizza was good.
Small air conditioned family ran place just on the bazaar street. Traditional food felt really like homemade. Nothing fancy, but like from your grandma. Good prices.

Summer-only place on Livadh beach ran by students of Tirana culinary institute. Really good food for nice prices, great atmosphere. One dish arrived later than other, but it happens often in Albania.
Restaurant with a stunning and romantic view over the lake. Definitely go for mussels kebap or ala marinara, e.g. with some salad, fries and brushetta. Feels like a proper Albanian feast then.
Very stylish Italian restaurant, seafood risotto was very good and properly cooked, also grilled shrimps were nice. Amazing culinary desserts. Not cheap for Albanian standards, but it doesn't matter
Very nice B&B with pleasant owner. The garden is like real oasis withing the Balcan city. Nice rooms and amazing breakfast with eggs and fresh fruits.
The view is amazing. We just wanted something small with coffee, so we ordered traditional Qumeshtor and it was huge! It's basically a baked pudding, very sweet and tasty. Place was surprisingly empty
Nice hidden place just few metres from the main street. They let you choose from a huge plate of appetisers. They also offer daily changing menu. The seafood mix was great, pleasant service.

Steak on a stone is a must! Interesting experience and so delicious. Meat was very tender and you can cook it to your own temperature. Cheese and salami starters were great. The staff was amazing.
Nice hidden place where you can get amazing food, large portions. It is run by an old lady and you can be sure the food will be like homemade. Shish qebab was really good!

Nice and pleasant hotel directly in the city center. Staff is very friendly and speaks good English. Rather busy street, even in the night, parking is behind a corner on a paid lot.
