The pizza here is fantastic! The crust is lighter and crispier than a traditional Neopolitan style crust. This place is the real deal.
An ever-changing menu keeps this lunch-only spot very attractive for our attention span. Get the best fried chicken sandwich in the city (actually, the world) here on Tuesdays - only. CLOSED MONDAYS.

A little take away spot that helps you realize how bad Chipotle is. The Pollo Al Horno bowl is amazing.
This place is a hidden gem for burger lovers. Simple, cheap and delicious. Get the Anthony Bourdain special (he famously visited this spot for a drunken burger after a nice bar crawl in Chinatown).

One of my favorite American bar and grills. Yes it's part of a chain, but the food and service are excellent. The Western burger is one if my top five burgers ever.
Hands down! The best char-broiled chicken with the best fries! Fries feel like homemade and the chicke is cooked to perfection! A must-eat if you are in the area!

Meatballs app was tasty! Pizza Margherita had a little less cheese than I would've liked, but I'd get it again all the same. The crust was wonderfully chewy.
This diner is one of my favorite North Beach spots for breakfast/brunch -- short wait times, huge portions, and delicious Bailey's milkshakes.
Any sandwich with the soft sourdough bread is a must but the italian combo or the chicken salad is a must!

The best cheesesteak on the west coast. Amazing bread. The whiz is a crowd pleaser, but I personally love provolone! Hard to go wrong.

The house special eggplant is delicious! And the complimentary tea and soup is a nice bonus.

Truly excellent falafel--crunchy outside, tender inside, green with parsley. Killer hummus, baba, yogurt/tzatziki. Gyros are doner kabab/shwarma style, not the strips of sliced meat. Hot sauce ftw!

I tried the Siam Noodles on a whim and it was fantastic. I think the place deserves a higher rating than it has! Very tasty and very affordable.

Good ole fashioned pub goodness served in a brick-walled space. It sits on the site of an “Old Ship” wreck from the mid-1800s. Teri says to get some chips with cheese and sausage or peppercorn gravy.
Wonderful ceviche, clam chowder is excellent with tasty and nicely sizes morsels of clams. Seafood platter for two was yummy too!
Very large potatoes stuffed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Don't be afraid to ask for suggestions! The staff is very helpful and kind. Oh, and get a sweet potato brownie. Your world will change.

This inexpensive hole-in-the-wall serves handmade renditions of the Mexican usuals along with awesome, unusual Yucatan specialties like panuchos - all with their amazingly tender slow-roasted meats.
Expensive but everything on the menu is huge-breakfast burritos especially are killer. Also sandwiches come with side salad(s) like potato salad and greens. Lots of bang for your buck.
