Shawn Wright4月 12, 2017This is a great place to connect with nature. A little pricey but it is worth it. However I strongly recommend appropriate shoes and clothes, and most of all an water backpack.

Also, some things cost extra $ like the Log Flume ride and train so bring cash if you're interested in those.- Lynea Davenport11月 16, 2013Smaller but more one-on-one with the animals compared to the PHX Zoo. You can get up close to everything, wear comfortable shoes & make sure you take the "ski-lift" to view the site of the whole zoo.

matt qzon1月 22, 2010Try Tiburon restaurant. 16000 gallon shark tank in the middle of the dining room. worth the experience.
The zoo itself is enjoyable; downsides are disgruntled, unpleasant employees & the fact that they don't honor Veterans/Military discount unless you're affiliated with Luke Air Force Base.
