Small airport makes it very easy to get in/out. Nice alternative from the NYC choices.
Love that a work counter with outlets was added! Better than hunting for the two or three seats near wall outlets before...

Great airport to get in/out of for travel north of the city. Car rental lot north of the terminal building but easy to get in/out. Friendly TSA. Used my AmEx at the food area inside security
This is a teeny tiny airport, which is good and bad. It's soooo easy to get thru so no real need to get here early. But the food amenities are somewhat sparse. You take the good with the bad.

Fly in/out of here ANY time you can. Great alternative to LAX-JFK red-eye is last flight via ORD, where you can get Dunkin coffee, and here by 9:30am. Safe Trip, gang.
Charles Tabangcora9月 1, 2011A easy airport to fly into and out. But it gets packed in the boarding area, baggage claim and rental car lot. Be prepared for the wait as the attendant manually signs you out of the rental lot.

But personnel use the loudspeaker excessively to the point of being a nescience. Can’t understand a word they’re saying.
- Small place. Convenient, fast. Not many seats so prepare to stand while waiting to board.
Easily the best airport in the tristate area. What it lacks in luxury it makes up for with speed and efficiency!
Great little airport. Painful when there are inevitable delays but I'm here almost weekly and quite content.
Carrie Morgan9月 26, 2010Super-easy airport to use as alternative to LGA, JFK, Newark or Bradley. But bring your own food/snacks because HPN is very tiny and has 2 coffee/snack bars and one Piccadilly Pizza kiosk.
Easy in and out airport. No security line and very small terminal. No great food options though.

Remember once you go through security there are only a couple of vending machines and a small deli with premade food.
Suzanne Adnams4月 6, 2012Restaurant, bar & coffee shop on 2nd floor. Snacks, donut shop on main. Not much past security so get food/drinks before going thru to gate.
If your part of the flight crew, go to the dinner they usually have a really cheap special.- Free wifi now available. That and the some power ports makes the waits much easier.
Always have a backup plan…direct flights are the best. Avoid connections due to delays or cancellations.

Jet blue even more speed let's you cut the security line. Glass door under the escalator.
Robert Brereton6月 16, 2011Virtually no long term parking. HPN's flights are usually cheaper than JFK or LGA. Go up a flight to sit. It's usually empty. Go to the gate ONLY when you have to as there is only ONE overcrowded gate

Jet Blue still sitting on runway for 40 minutes now. They are blaming it on traffic coming from Laguardia airport . Really!!! But we are in White Plains can someone explain it to me please.

🍚12月 31, 2014Free wifi. They have a water fountain especially for filling up a nalgene/reusable bottle- Arrive at a time when loved ones will pick you up. Transportation options are limited, expensive, and a tad rude.
- John D'Agostino7月 25, 2023Not a very good experience. The demand is high for access to flights but the county continues to avoid expansion of the airport size to accommodate demand. Leaving people like sardines in a small can.
