Great view of Salzburg from the fortress , you could either walk up or take a tram ride up. If you have time and are able to walk up, take a pit stop halfway through for some local brew.
I recommend the tour through the opera - goes for about 45 minutes - thus doable. It's quite interesting to see the backstage area which is three times as large as the opera guest area...
A must-do in Salzburg & a unique experience: Bring your own food and draw your own bier! Sit in the garden in summer, go down into historic drinking halls in winter - just like an augustinian monk.
First off, service here is quite good. We're talking about one of the most traditional of Brussels restaurants. Old school, very good food. 3course lunch special is a steal at under 20 euros. Enjoy!
A great place to eat fish! I loved the sea bass. Make sure to make a reservation unless you're alone: there's always a place at the bar.

The hotel is top notch in virtually every area. Rooms are large, particularly by French standards. We had a junior suite which was large. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.
