Tip? Be that guy that also buys your bartender a drink. They're unpretentious, fun, & serving cheap drinks to the tired & thirsty huddled masses, which we can all agree, is God's work. Pay it forward.

One of {so far} 3 Pour Guys Inc... EAT BOX... whose sticker game is on point. Great spot to grab a bite and enjoy a drink. Wonderful environment.

That weird combination between divey and awesome. Saw a funny number of people working while having a drink. Crowd ranged from SoMa workers to PBR hipsters to a group of girls for a birthday party.
Hard to have a bad time here. Solid dive bar with cheap drinks and great staff. Delicious bar food from the window next door that you can bring in.

For lunch, burger. For dinner, burger. For drinks, get a beer. Open late so a great place to stop the next time you're leaving a concert at Mezzanine.

A classic dive bar, Tempest is one of the best. It has great beers and an even better atmosphere- Solid beer selection, changes often. Great food next door at Box Kitchen

order food at the box next door, then buy a $5 pbr and jim beam. By the time you finish your drinks the food'll be ready and it's on to the next shot!
This is by far the best bar to go to, pre-club. 1 block away from 2 of the best clubs in the city and cheap as balls drinks... You can't go wrong- If you're looking for a place to get your happy hour on and not break the bank, Tempest is a win! The all day, erry day special for $5 will knock you on your ass for $20 bar tab too!

Favorite little hidden bar in the city. Food from "the box" is top notch.

Seriously the best burger in town. Period. Can't even eat one anywhere else now.
