Walk the whole thing (sunset = best). If its night time, look for the exhibitionists Doing Their Thing in the windows of the Standard Hotel. Sit in sunken mini-theater (you'll know it when you see it)

For a totally different MoMA, go on the first Thursday of each month, when the Museum is open 'til 8:45 p.m. with music and a bar.

Love this place! Amazing atmosphere and great Italian restaurant. Try the sheep's milk ricotta and the beet/goat cheese ravioli-- you won't be disappointed.

A scenic walk across the Brooklyn Bridge provides the perfect backdrop to telling someone that they don’t have any friends or for fighting over who is more integral to the marriage equality debate.
The wide selection encompasses everything from no-name 70s vintage to $40 DVF wrap dressed, and the music and the people-watching are both always top-notch.
One of my top 2 go-to spots for dinner in the East Village (the other being Casmir). I always go for: strip steak medium rare, béarnaise sauce, fries, escargot, cabernet. (ps: decent brunch too)
As the name suggests, the Earth Room is a room full of dirt. Rich, dark dirt, knee deep, housed in a 3600 square foot room in Soho, intriguing viewers for the past 30 years.
