The padron peppers are awesome, but one in thirty-five is unbelievably spicy. So be careful as you toss the dice and live dangerously. If you get burned, ask for some milk, it helps.
One of the few consistently great sit-down restos in the Castro if you want upscale casual. Can’t go wrong with the dumplings, mussels (ask for extra bread), roasted summer corn pizza, & the spaghetti

Luis Olvera2月 2, 2016Went here for the Sunday brunch and it was nice. I had the chilaquiles, which are very dry in my opinion (needs more "liquid" salsa) but the michelada and the pizza were outstanding. Their back patio!
Fran Su8月 12, 2018Good location, interesting semi outdoor space. Scallops with corn sauce and chow chow were great. Spaghetti is so so, pizza is a little better than spaghetti, can’t compare to good pizza in New York.
The Lamb Merquez is a very tasty and well proportioned dish with a lot of variety- Eggplant, Arugula, Beans, Quinoa. A great little dinner. And the bar service is friendly and efficient :-)
Get the fried chicken po’boy during weekend brunch. Also, you can order a bottle of champagne and a glass of juice for DIY mimosas.
Great brunch and dinner spot. Patio is the place to be. Get the Joe's and the Dynamo Donuts.

Might be one of my favorite spots in the Castro. Love the back patio area, too. I dream about their brussels sprouts, and beets. Order a few small plates then share their mushroom pizza. Yum!

Get a pizza to share as a starter or your friends will just eat up the one you order and we don't want that, do we? Also: best Pimm's Cup this side of London, IMHO.

Try the Grilled Santa Maria Tri-Tip Steak - Just had a great dinner at Starbelly. Their patio picnics on Tues nights are amazing! If you have a chance to go ...it's a must!!
When it's on the menu, order the pork sugo and spinach lasagna. Great textures, melty and whole-heartedly satisfying.
I love a place that's open between lunch and dinner. Bonus for aperol spritz on a back patio. Open late for food, too.

Burger is surprisingly light while still filling. Totally workable for lunch or brunch without knocking you out for the afternoon.

Mission Beach has nothing on Starbelly for brunch. If they have the sourdough flapjacks and crab louie salad do not think twice: order 'em.

- Happy Hour from 3:30-6 every day but Saturday. How about a burger, fries AND a HH cocktail for just $20? Can’t beat it! 🍔 🍟🍸💵👍🏻
