Sparkie: On top of being hidden in the back of an art gallery, it's located on a rather bland stretch of Chrystie Street. It's easy to walk right by Fig 19 and miss it, especially if the bouncer isn't outside.
Sparkie: Dimly-lit subterranean speakeasy serves over 70 beers, including a number of ultra-rare Czech and German ales. It's cozy and cave-like. Down some steps at 124.

Sparkie: Creation of Albert Trummer, the man once behind Apotheke, The bar is heavily theatre-themed, with red velvet curtains cascade from a high tin ceiling while chandeliers with candles.
Sparkie: Deep inside of the drab Hotel Stanford on 32nd Street, in a hallway on the second floor. Est. 1986 serves strong mixed drinks and a surprisingly good selection of wines by the glass.

Sparkie: In Grand Central Station and is a testament to the grandiosity of a different area. The space originally served as a private salon for 1920′s financial mogul John W. Campbell.
Sparkie: Unmarked, go around the side to walk in through the patio. The bar only seats about 15 people so again the recommendation is to get a reservation for dinner.
Sparkie: Tacos available to order at the street level, the jalapeno margaritas (Pepino Diablo) from the bar underneath are awesome. Reservation for dinner then no problem getting into the bar.
Sparkie: Tucked away at the end of Freemans Alley behind the club The Box. The interior has a very rustic feel with low candles and the walls encased with bookshelves.
Dens: If you can, head up the stairs to the bathroom, take a right (into the bigger, closed-off bar area) and then a left out into the lobby. Take a photo on the steps. Feel special.
New York Habitat: Simply put, this place is sexy and romantic, perfect for all you lovers out there. Grab a couple cocktails and split the bacon wrapped dates. Your night just got better.
Tiffany & Co: Ladies and gentlemen, no way is this a hotel. It’s a bar. An enchanting speakeasy oozing period charm in Williamsburg. Belly up to the bar at sundown or snag a little table and name your poison.
