For some of us, the thought of having to leave our pets behind while we travel can be heartbreaking. http://ogomo.com/blog/2011/08/02/pet-friendly-travel-destinations/
Allison DeVoe: Decline housekeeping for the day, get $5 for Cafe Pescatore! Nice place, friendly and VERY helpful people, all have a good sense of humor.

elizabeth Scott: Great customer service! Free wi-fi if you are a Kimpton In-Touch member. Free wine happy hour in the lobby for guests daily from 5-6p. The fortune teller in the lobby is a waste though!
Darlene Ivey: We love this dog friendly place. They welcome our four legged family with open arms and dog bones. Vero Beach is beautiful and this is the place to stay.
Lauren D: Make sure you like their facebook page. They have deals on it as well as the monthly password for free perks! We got a bottle of bubbly this time. Whoot!
Jaunted: Staying here? Free wine in the lobby in the evening, coffee in the morn, candy jars in between times. Tan on the 17th Floor sundeck that's secreted away at the end of the hallway
Reuters Business Traveller: The rooms at best-kept-secret 70 Park Avenue aren’t huge but they’re extremely smart (and a “romance sommelier” will swish them up even more upon request).
M W: Hip, well-located hotel. Some rooms oddly configured. Rooms overlooking Hillcrest are large but can be bright and noisy. Fewer amenities than the Palomar but great for short, friendly/local stays!
DC Preservation League: The Old General Post Office was built in two stages from 1839 to 1866, the building is the work of Robert Mills and Thomas U. Walter, two of the most noted 19th-century American architects.

Gwendolyn Kelly: Stay here when you're in SeAttle. It's a perfect size, filled with art and super-nice/efficient staff. Across the street from BOKA Kitchen, 3 blocks from The Seattle Art Museum + one block from water!
K Ziggy: Valet parking is expensive. A new charge applies every time you car is retrieved the same day. Reserve a shuttle from the airport and cab it around town.
Amber V: LOVE the Turkey Creek dog trail. Nice 3 mile hike, leash free, with lots of chances for the pups to play in the water (when we're not in a total drought).
Bobby Collins: If you are going to hike one mountain, go for Beehive. It is one of the most unique hikes you will ever do and it is right next to Sand Beach
Melissa Ossanna: Only 'off leash' area on MDI. Great for a walk with no dog, too. Carriage roads, woods and pond. Not fenced in. Bring a leash because sometimes there are horses!
