Beril Esen9月 18, 2017This is the sort of spot that south Indians would approve of; it's the place where I get my dosa fix. Chutneys are flavorful & idly vada with sambar remind you of Kerala. Also is vegetarian friendly!
You will NEVER find a bar in a South Indian dosa joint in India, but NYC has one to offer you. The dosas are great if you're Indian and missing home. Delicious vegetarian South Indian food. Well known chain world wide, order the rava dosa, rassam and uttapam. Quick service and reasonable prices.

The mini tiffin gives you the perfect amount of everything.. chase out with an extra strong filter coffee and you're in heaven..

I absoutely love the food, but since they've expanded, service has been very spotty. Your best bet is to avoid peak weekend dining hours- you'll end up waiting forever to order and to get the check!

As others have said the service leaves a lot to be desired, but even if you tip well, you'll still be asked to leave almost immediately after paying the bill. Great dosas, though.

Best filter coffee in US ! Absolute must. Will keep u awake for at least 2 days :-)
Get the mysore dosa and the idli starter. Go up the street to Bhojan for real chaas.
