Please refrain from applauding between movements. And ensure you have cough sweets.

It is a great national monument but tends to be an acoustic disappointment for classical concerts.

Most BBC organised concerts are the best highlights of the year here; the Proms(ended last night) to the Big Sing (today). Yum...

HISTORY UK2月 10, 2011The acoustics here were once so bad, it was said this was the only venue where a composer could be sure of hearing his work twice. It was corrected in 1969 by putting diffusing discs on the ceiling.
The asahi bar is the least busiest generally of all the bars but servers pretty much all the same as the others, including champers :)

Whatever you go to watch or listen to there, it is one hell of an experience. Always class acts playing.
If possible, get seats as low as possible; the sound was not so good at the highest seating level and the temperature was very hot!
