    A rare oasis in midtown. Their free wifi is blazing fast even with dozens of people on it. If you look up "hospitality" in wikipedia, there should be an image of Roger Smith's staff. Very impressive.

    Great views from the penthouse of this cozy new england style hotel right in the heart of Manhattan. All 9th floor rooms have renovated bathrooms.

    Tired & weary travelers with a messed up reservation that couldn't be rectified due to a full house. Why not always leave an empty room for error due to the reservation staff. No turn down service.

    Terrible Hotel. Didn't give me the Suite I paid for. Didn't credit me for the smaller room. Charged me an additional $100 for what I was told were complimentary apples. I would not recommend!

    If you see a cute little B&W dog running around. I know you'll want to steal it. But don't. He's the hotel's mascot. :)
