The museum is not designed for large crowds. Buy your tickets in advance to avoid lines and to guarantee entrance.
If you arrive before noon, expect long lines to do all the cruise ships and tour buses that show up at the same time. If you come in the afternoon, you will see much smaller crowds.
Any fan of Dali must go here. One of my favorite artists ever to grace the earth.

"Beats After Sunset" is a great event held here on the 1st Friday of every month. Complimentary drinks at the bar, but get there early, the bar gets full very easily and you may have to wait a while.
