Perfect place to spend a quiet afternoon. Great selection of modern art. And don't miss the art nouveau and deco area!

Many people neglect the very real human need to experience beauty. The VMFA has many magnificent collections and the traveling exhibits are often truly amazing. Join today!- In the Medieval/Middle Ages exhibit, I felt a surprising constancy of human endeavor (born or propelled, I think, by faith) that was not belied by the traumas and tribulations of those dark centuries.
