The permanent exhibit of Medieval European Art is in a quiet, less traveled corner of the museum. Nonetheless, the objects on display are powerful, substantial and beautiful.

Hi There!1月 13, 2014Parking is $5 but admission is free for the main exhibits. Special exhibits are a separate fee. Before or after your visit, enjoy lunch in nearby Carytown.- In the Medieval/Middle Ages exhibit, I felt a surprising constancy of human endeavor (born or propelled, I think, by faith) that was not belied by the traumas and tribulations of those dark centuries.
Many people neglect the very real human need to experience beauty. The VMFA has many magnificent collections and the traveling exhibits are often truly amazing. Join today!

Become a member! $50 for most and you get free tickets to the exhibits, 10 percent off of food and merchandise. Free parking too. Can't beat it.

Hollywood Costume Exhibit is fun for film fans. Up until Feb. You can go through it in about an hour.
