The onsen tamago as a topping as opposed to a small dish is great cracked straight into the hot broth. Mega love.
Order the green curry fried rice, and everyone at your table will ask "Oh, what was that?" and make sure they order it themselves the next time.
Order the piggy burger with pulled pork! Drink the old fashioned with chocolate bitters! Burger heaven...

Lunch time meals offer the best value here, big feed for £10-£14. Vegetables never tasted so good.
Just discovered this tiny little place. It's one of the best spots in London. Every dish is exquisite. The caamari & crayfish are the best. (But then, so's everything else.)

New restaurant from the folk behind the Ivy & the Wolseley. Very much in the same spirit. Coffee and eggs benedict just as good but a lot easier to get a table - at the moment anyway...

Great for Dim Sum.. buzzing atmosphere and great location. You may have to queue on a weekend though.
Genuinely the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Every dish I try is just amazing, kebab rolls and chicken tikka masala are highly recommended. Very friendly service too (bravo Sunny!)

Blown away by the food, especially the spicy veg samosas with a hint of cinnamon. But you have to Try the Virgin Bombalada drink. Cool and creamy, sweet pineapple.
Fishmongers by day, restaurant by night. On Saturdays, if you book your table for the evening by 3pm you get 25% off food. And that's just the icing on the cake of a really good place!
Wonderful service with great food and wine. Advise you reserve a table and preferably at the front of the building. Dining here is highly recommended.
So much choice! Phad Thai and Massamum Curry is great from the Thai Stall, Burritos, Chorizio and Rocket Salad buns on Tuesdays I think...

Great for hungry students on a budget. Unless you're a 6ft rugby player, the small meal with a lassi should fill up most people.
Chilled out place for food and drink. Keep an eye on their listings for music events in the basement
BYO at Tayyabs which keeps things cheap, but at the weekend show up earlier than you want to eat because the (not really justifiable) queue - even if you book - will leave you ravenous.

As you'd expect from the name, they do awesome burgers, whole lobsters and lobster rolls. Really good fries, and cocktails. Ran by the guys who run Goodman steak houses. 4,000 litre lobster tank!
