Immigration lines are punishingly long at DPS for no good reason, like so many tourist spots. You’re better off relaxing + using free WiFi to catch up on email / social media until the lines go down.
Lings9月 26, 2013Stop at the right area for departure. Easy to get lost. Also, prep your travel itinerary before going in. Collection of boarding pass is inside the departure area.
Pro: fast immigration, almost no queue. Con: when departing, the obligated your through the tax free shops. Global: the renovation is a step forward. Please add aircon on the slurf to the plane..
Recommended to book your taxi early at a hotel for a certain time, not when you are about to leave for the airport as it takes awhile for the taxi to get to the hotel these days.

If u request uber or grab go level up to departures area coz local taxi drivers don't let uber and grab picking up customers in arrivals. it is annoying but it is Bali. Just take it easy
Elisa5月 16, 2023On arrival - do yourself a favor and buy the Bali Immigration Fast Track service. You could end up waiting over one hour just to get through immigration. Other than that, departures is a nice exp.
Tidak akan pernah bosen deh disini. Smoking area di lantai 3 punya coffeshopnya sendiri. Design dan konsep bandaranya buat berasa seperti ada di dalam mall drpd bandara pada umumnya.
yg abadi hanya perubahan, suasana n lokasi penataan asri, informatif, tapi buat kamu yg baru pertama lewati, pasti surprise
Grace K5月 25, 2017Go upstairs to the departure drop off area to get a metered Blue Bird taxi . Fare to Legian without traffic was about 70k IDR, much cheaper than what they'll quote you at arrivals hall.
Good to print out your air ticket, the security will need to check your departure flight before allowing you into the airline check in halls

When you go in feels like you're not in Bali anymore. Most of the restaurants don't open till 6am. Oh and free wifi!

N K2月 25Аэропорт стал лучше, но бестолковость есть. 1 очередь на визу, другая погран. Еще нужно заполнить на компе самому декларацию, распечатать куар код и только после этого тебя выпустят на волю😅

Yogi Sujiwo4月 11, 2013Get a cab in taxi drop off area, it's a bit far but you can get BlueBird there, it's using argoMeter system,so you won't be cheated- The fix rates of the airport taxi has increased. This year on the price list it says IDR70kto Legian but as usual they add anthr IDR30kon top of that. So my taxi fare to Legian ended up being IDR100k

Good idea to have your boarding pass or confirmation email available before entering as they check at the door (before check in counter)- Remember: u may bring to bali only 1 bottle of alcohol per peson! They will confiscate all your extra alcohol

International airport with local culture. For muslims, there is a mosque at the 2nd floor (you'd need to check-in) and outside of the airport.
Kasihan juga liat petugasnya pd tegang.., gara2 nyari2 pax yg pada telat..,boarding..., budayakan check-in lebih awal ya.., biar semua lancar dan secara tdk lgs membantu ketepatan wktu jadwal pesawat.

Pawel Sokolowski7月 11, 2015If you need a taxi after arrival go directly to departures (top floor) and use one of Blue Bird Group meter taxis dropping off passengers as they are not allowed to pick up anyone from arrival.
Free wifi, the new terminal so much nicer, modern, bigger, brighter. More counters for immigrations and customs officers.

PL9月 6, 2017Bad airport, it takes forever to get through customs and get suitcases...definitely not a smooth experience. Can do way better!
There are 3 security checks before you board your flight. You CANNOT take any bottled water, drinks, etc. onboard even if you purchased them at the airport (after the 2nd check). Save your $$$!

Merlin9月 14, 2013When visiting bali, make sure you only use "blue bird taxi" . Never use "bali taxi". The first one is a reputable and well-known taxi whilst the second one is scammed taxi.

Jaime Tautiva1月 30, 2015You have to pay a tax before leaving Bali. There's a checkpoint you can't exit once you have checked in at your airline, so go to the shops or the cafes beforehand if you have enough time
