T1 is going thru major renovation. If u are here earlier, take a train to T2, more things to do and pamper yourself with. T3 is so new that is hardly anything there. So go pamper yourself at T2! :)
One of my favorite airport. Shopping, dining, transit hotel, spa, free wifi even botanical garden! I could spend hours here!

Don't bother to convert your money to the local currency if you are on holiday here. You really can't spend it if you are heading to a resort. Even if you plan to go to Male, everyone accepts USD.

If you need to exchange currency, do it before you pass through immigration; the exchange counters near the gates limit the amount you can exchange if you are a foreigner

In the 1960s the airport was also known as the Halim Perdana Kusumah Air Force Base, and before it was known as Tjililitan Airport, the borough where it lies.
Basically it's an Airforce Base with only a short length of runway. Probably the airport with the cheapest tax in Indonesia (only cost you about Rp.6k).
The airport is currently going through renovations. It is advices to plan ahead to fetch people from arrivals cause finding a carpark is really difficult. Ask them to wait in departure section instead
